LIVING DIARY: EMBODIED WRITING 

Sharing artistic research Living Open Diary at Convocation II A Gathering of Language-based Artistic Research Zentrum Fokus Forschung University of Applied Arts Vienna, Austria. October 3-6, 2023

 

Living Open Diary is an inquiry into an embodied experimental writing practice in combination with art-dance as a collective interactive score-performance-ritual. This practice focuses on intimacy, differences, and overlaps of times, materials, and bodies in sharing space and space as an actant that brings its different structural particularities in continual intimate immediacy of authentic conversations with materials and bodies.

 

Workshop / Studio Practice

 

With participants of Convocation II, during 45 minutes of multimedia asemic improvisation, Erika Tsimbrovsky facilitated the interdisciplinary somatic exploration into diary-like writing with paper, twigs, and audio pre-recorded paper.
