EVM Laboratory’s research investigated what emerges in performance at the intersection of different artistic genres. This inquiry brought together Vadim Puyandaev (visual artist), Maksim Goldenberg (musician), Peter Chaika (outsider artist with Down Syndrome), and Erika Tsimbrovsky (dancer), fostering a unique dialogue between movement, sound, and visual art. They were later joined by Izmail (Israel) Galin and Natasha Zborovskaya-Sigawi, further expanding the creative exchange.
This research was made possible by funding from the Israeli Ministry of Education and Culture for the works Self Portrait and The Garden of Forking Paths, along with the generous support of theatre director Grigori Faingold, to whom we are deeply grateful.
